Am I pregnant or is it stress?

I am 6 days late so I took a test and it came out negative but I am pretty sure I might be pregnant. I have been suffering with lower back pain for 2 to 3 weeks now, I have light or mild cramping and about a week and half before I was due to start I had some spotting of blood and that was it. I am always soo tired and exhausted. I get headaches and feel slightly sick from time to time. Could I be pregnant or is it stress? Maybe this is all in my head?

It Could Be Either of the Two

The first sign that you are pregnant is that you miss your period.

However, a missed period does not always mean you are pregnant. There are many reasons why you might miss your period.

Stress is a very common cause of this. It can throw your entire cycle off, not to mention the rest of your bodily systems.

Stress affects nearly every part of your body. From muscle aches to headaches to digestive problems, stress hurts!

Stress can even cause heart attacks, strokes, and high blood pressure.

When you are under a lot of pressure, for whatever reason, your hormones are also affected. You could have a late period or even miss one completely.

A pregnancy test is the best way to confirm if this is the cause of your late period.

However, many of the home pregnancy tests are not accurate until you are a day or two late. If you have miscalculated when you were due to start your period, you could find that the test is negative when you are indeed pregnant.

If you get a negative pregnancy test result and you don?t start your period within an other week after you are due, then it?s time to take another one. If it?s negative, then you should see your doctor to rule out any health concerns.

One of the most effective ways to control stress is through relaxation exercises, such as meditation, deep breathing, or yoga.

If you are pregnant, many of these exercises can help reduce some of the more unpleasant pregnancy symptoms.

Pregnant or Stress?

I keep having lower pain when I can't sit down in the bed for long. My period keeps on changing; sometimes it comes early sometimes it comes late. Like last month it was supposed to come on the 18th but it came on the 14th and finished on the 18th. And I still have lower pain no matter what day my cycle happens.

Lots of symptoms

Well it sounds like you have lots of the usual symptoms. So if you are still having them I'd say you may want to try another test to see if it shows up now.
