Back pain early sign of pregnancy?

How long does it take for a woman to experience any pregnancy symptoms such as low back pain? My girlfriend and I slept together during the weekend and now on Thursday she has lower back pain. I'm starting to get worried... please help. Is back pain an early sign of pregnancy?

Lower back pain is one possible early sign of pregnancy but it would not usually show up so soon after sex. If you were together on the weekend, that symptom would not be happening less than a week later. The lower back might simply be sore from lovemaking when maybe there was a pulled muscle. Sometimes putting ice on a strain can help it feel better. But of course if it doesn't feel better you want to go see a doctor.
