Butt Exercises

Butt exercises are very popular. Look at the cover of women's magazines and you'll see headlines about these exercises with the silly name.

Many women want to be able to look good wearing shorts, swimsuits, bikinis, thong swimsuits and tight jeans.

Women ask, "I know exercises to tone the other muscles like my arms and legs ... but what about my behind?"

Personal trainers tell us the two most requested areas to work on from women are the buns and the tummy.

Don't despair. Here are some proven butt exercises that can tighten and tone your butt and legs.

"Best Butt Exercises"

One of the best butt exercises is the simple squat. You don't have to do the squats with a barbell, or while holding dumbells in your hands. Be careful with weights. It is safest to just use your own bodyweight or squats.

When Jessica Simpson had to get into perfect shape to wear short shorts, she "did a lot of squats of every shape, size and variety to get into shape for the role of Daisy Duke," said celebrity physical trainer Mike Alexander.

The simple squat is a great exercise that can be done anywhere, at home, in a hotel room, at the gym, any place.

All you do is stand up up straight with your feet about shoulder-width apart. Keep your upper body straight as you squat. You can let your arms drop to your sides on the way down, and throw them out them level in front of you for balance on the way back up. Your arms can make a circular arc as you do this exercise.

Down: Now lower your butt. As your body goes down, your heels raise up so you are on the balls of your feet. Soon your knees are in front of you and your thighs are level with the floor. Your arms dropped straight down.

Up: Okay, now it's time to stand up again. Push off the balls of your feet and straighten your legs. Swing your arms up in front of you to help you up. Then pull them back to your waist.

Repeat this in one smooth motion over and over.

This sounds too simple and easy to many people. Yet it is a tough workout. Your cardio rate will go up as if you were on the treadmill. You will feel the muscles being toned in your butt, thighs, calves and tummy.

Some weightlifters laugh at this simple butt exercise ... until they try to do it. Many very strong people cannot do 100 of these without stopping. They have no cardio power.

Try this for yourself. This simple butt exercise literally kicks booty. The next day you might find that you can barely walk.

Soon your butt, thighs, calves and your tummy are looking firmer and younger and more athletic. This is probably the secret of that woman who has the best butt at the gym.

This exercise also gives you an aerobic workout. Your lungs and heart will be pumping and you'll be burning calories and fat. Aerobic exercise helps flatten your tummy too.

Butt Exercises and Thigh Exercises

A simple resistant-band exerciser designed just for conditioning the butt and thighs.

This was invented by the same folks who sell half a million jump ropes per week.

This exerciser comes with an instruction manual by fitness expert Jon Hinds, the former strength coach of the LA Clippers. (And these exercise bands are rumored to be used by the cheerleaders too.)

Many sports teams and Olympic athletes use jump ropes, resistance band exercise equipment and exercise balls. You can find these products at many sports equipment stores.

Always remember to get up off of your rear and walk around any time you can. Sitting all day does not tone your buns and thighs. Walk on your lunch hour if you can.

Climb some stairs. Going up stairs is an excellent way to shape your legs and buns.

You can also stand on a step and do leg raises. Simply raise up to stand on your tip toes, hold it, and then lower again.

Doing butt exercises on an exercise ball can do wonders for your behind. Simply lay on your tummy on the ball and put your hands on the floor. Then slowly lift one leg at a time, up and down. These leg lifts really tighten and tone the backs of your thighs and your buns.

You may also want to try this secret weapon (below) to help firm the skin of your abs and buns. The ingredients help restore collagen and elastin to your skin and make it appear more youthful and firm, and help reduce sagging and other visible signs of aging.

This is a repeat bestseller so somebody is getting results or they would not keep buying it. Maybe this is the secret of those women you see who show off their toned tummies and perfect behinds at the beach. Now you can have the chance to do the same. It can be your secret when you use Restorative Night Cream especially formulated for a woman's body.
