No, but soy or flaxseed might be a problem by: Anonymous
Pregnancy tests are designed to test for a hormone known as hCG - human chorionic gonadotropin. The presence of this hormone would indicate that you are pregnant. I've never heard of fish oil creating this hormone, how could it? And never heard of it causing any effect on it, plus I searched on the Internet and I could not find anything on Google to say it would either.
However if you look online you will find lots of information that indicates that SOY and FLAX may have "estrogenic-like" activity in the body of some women. These plants have the possible potential to have an effect upon women's hormones. In fact, many women eat soy or drink soymilk in the hopes it will have an effect on their menopause hormones.
But for that same reason these foods should be avoided by pregnant women or those hoping to get pregnant. Are you eating any food that contains soy? It is in everything these days, check the labels of your foods.
