Can you get pregnant if your tubes have been tied or burned ?

My cycle is late and I have been exhibiting the early signs of pregnancy. I know the chances are slim but I can't help feeling that I am pregnant. My cycle comes on like clock work and I have not been myself lately. I am going to schedule an doctor's appt. next week. Am I crazy to think that I might be pregnant?

I am 27 years old, and got my tubes tied about 3 months ago. I have been feeling like I'm pregnant is it possible? Or what else could it be? I get nausea, feel really sleepy and tired, and have frequent headaches?

I am 25 and I just had my second set of twins 8 months ago they are girls this time. When I first thought about getting my tubes tied I was all for it because I did not want to have triplets the next pregnancy. And plus I had hyperemmisis with both pregnancies for about 5 months.

But now that I am reading all of these comments I'm wondering if I made the wrong choice to do that ....maybe it wont matter to me if I have triplets when I'm about 38 or something...

Hi I wanted to know if I would be able to have a baby if the doctors had cut and burned my tubes 10 years ago? My boyfriend and I want a baby so bad. And we were wondering if artificial insemination would be a possible way? Please let me know if you have heard anything about that, thank you.

I had my tubes tied and burned 9 years ago after my 3rd child was born. Since then I have divorced and now I'm with someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with. He has no kids of his own and we want more than anything to have a baby. We don't have the money to pay for In Vitro Fertilization. So what else can we do to have a child together? I had my tubes tied and burnt after my 3rd daughter. Three years later I had a great desire to have another child. I talked to my doctor and asked how to do it without having to pay a lot of money for a reversal. It seems I would had to have a medical condition to have it done.

I was married for almost 5 years and had two children. I got divorced about 1 year ago. When I had my youngest daughter I had my tubes cut and burned.

Now that I am close to marrying the man of my dreams I/we want to have a baby.

My question is what do I do?? My period is like clock work. Can I be Artificially Inseminated?? Can it happen the natural way??

We just want to know what to do. My soon to be husband has never had children and we want one very bad. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I've had my tubes tied for 6yrs, but 3yrs ago I got pregnant, and then after a month had a miscarriage.

Just yesterday I went to the doctor & asked what the odds of getting pregnant again would be, he said I'd have to talk to my obgyn about my situation & go from there.

I hope I have a good chance because I'd really like another one. I do believe in miracles.

You can always have the surgery reversed. My husband and I are looking into it and it costs around $20,000 to do it but that covers all meds you would need and doctor visits until you get pregnant and the delivery of the baby.

At some hospitals you would have to have $20,000 up front and at others you only need half down and then you can make monthly payments -- so call your local hospital and they could have some type of package deal! Good luck to you all!

I am 40 and I have 3 children 15, 20, 22 and my tubes are tied and burned as of 2010.

I married a wonderful man that has never been married and doesn't have any children. Just today he ask me about a baby, knowing about the tubal and not only knowing we have had this conversation so many times. We even checked on prices to we went to see if I have enough tube to have a baby. The price is $8,000. So he asks me, are we going to have a baby? Well of course my heart cries...

My youngest child is 7 yrs old and my fiance and I would love to have a baby of our own...only problem is I had a tubal ligation done in 2003 right after she was born. I have been pregnant once since then and believe that was in 2005. They werent sure if it was in my tubes or not but by monitoring my HCGs they had leveled off so no matter where I would have been pregnant it wasn't a healthy pregnancy. I would love to be able to have another child but from what the drs said if I would get pregnant again it would most likely result in a tubal pregnancy since i did have the tubal ligation done. I just wish there was some easier way to help those of us when our lives change and we have hopes of having a child with the person we are now with!

I think it?s different for everyone if you are trying and nothing is happening maybe its not in god's plan. I tied and had my tubes burnt 6 years ago and I have slipped a few times but... nothing, my cycle starts like clock work. I can almost pin point it to the exact day. I think sometimes I might want another one but my kids now are 17 & 6 and I don't really have patience for pregnancy or more kids I?m 35 its not going to happen.

I was told that about 1 out of 100 women might have a baby after their tubes are tied or burned so yes it is a possibility although a rare one.
