Cancer - How to Prevent Cancer




Cancer comes in many forms. To help prevent cancer we need to live a more healthy lifestyle. Some doctors believe that our food choices may affect our chances of getting cancer (sometimes mis-spelled as cacner).

Every food we eat these days is refined. Nothing is natural. Refined foods have been linked to:

Breast CancerColon CancerThyroid CancerStomach CancerIntestinal Cancer

Our foods today are so processed and refined that they have no fiber and no nutrients. To get lots of fiber and nutrients that help prevent cancer, we need to eat more natural plant foods, such as fruits, vegetables, beans, etc.

The New England Journal of medicine found that the risk of colorectal cancer is lower among the populations with high intakes of fruits and vegetables and that the risk changes on adoption of a different diet.

This means that the risk of cancer immediately becomes lower when you start eating a lot of fruits and vegetables, and the risk immediately goes up when you stop eating lots of fruits and vegetables.

So the moral of that medical study would seem to be that we should all start today eating lots of fruits and vegetables to help us avoid cancer.

The Journal of the American Heart Association also published similar findings in their July 27, 1999 issue. That article showed how many health groups agreed

Fruits and vegetables are full of carotenoids and helpful phytochemicals that may help prevent cancer.

This means that you have to eat these foods every day, not once in a while. Eat natural foods instead of and in place of cheeseburgers and lasagne and muffins.

Our own experience is that people just don't care if they get cancer from never eating any fruits and vegetables and health foods. They will just go ahead and eat sickening junk food anyway. They cannot give up their sugar, white flour, soda, chips, fatty burgers, and all the highly processed baked goods.

A book we recommend is "Eat to Live" by doctor Joel Fuhrman. This doctor's simple diet can help you lose weight and may help prevent cancer. We don't sell this book, we just highly recommend that you read it. You could probably find it at your library for free.

In closing, remember that you are what you eat. If you sickening eat junk food your body will turn to junk. If you eat dead animals you might turn into one. If you eat natural health food your body can stay naturally healthy.
