The Chinese Pregnancy Calendar

Can the Chinese pregnancy calendar below really predict whether your pregnancy will bring you a boy or a girl baby?

Legend has it that the original Chinese pregnancy chart was re-discovered when it was unearthed in the archaeological excavation of a thousand year old royal burial tomb in China. It is based on the Chinese Lunar calendar, which is different than the Western calendar.

We can’t guarantee that the Chinese pregnancy calendar will really predict the gender of your baby. It is only presented for entertainment purposes. However it is fun to try it out.

Some mothers test it out to see if it would have predicted the gender of their kids that have already been born. This editor found that it was accurate on my two kids. However some people have said it was not accurate. So take it with a grain of salt and have fun trying it out.

The Chinese pregnancy calendar is easy to use. You simply look at the column on the left side and find what your age was at the time you conceived. Remember, this is not your age that you are now, but the age you were at the time you became pregnant.

Next, follow that row across to the right until you reach the square that is in the month (listed above) that you conceived. Find the square where you age at the time of conception and your actual month of conception intersect. It will have a blue M for a male baby or a pink F for a female baby.

This is supposed to tell you that the odds favor your baby being of that particular gender, but of course it is not guaranteed.

We have presented this Chinese pregnancy calendar chart for entertainment purposes and we hope you have enjoyed it and been entertained by it.

For more fun, pass a link to this page along to your friends and ask them to test this gender chart for themselves. Many people find it to be surprisingly accurate.
