Cramping and Spotting in Early Pregnancy?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for the last two months. My cycles have always been like clockwork and it was supposed to start on Tues. I have been having cramps like I am going to start my period since Sunday. I had some light spotting, sore breasts, fatigue and some dizziness. But now I seem to be bleeding like a normal period. I took a test (at night because I was excited) and it was negative. I am bleeding today so I am assuming that I am not pregnant. What throws me off is that I had at least 4 days of cramps and that I was late. Is it even possible that I could be pregnant. If I am, it is only 4 wks and 2 days.

Cramping

I am in my 8th week of pregnancy, and I am experiencing some cramping. Is this normal at this stage? Other than that I am very hormonal, and feeling nausea all day. I also am extremely tired.

Very Very Confused!!!

Can someone help explain my experience?

My first date of my last period was months ago. To date I am in total shock because my gp and on my first visit to the midwife, I was told I am (9weeks) pregnant.

About two weeks ago , I started spotting (very little). So my gp booked an early scan, only to be told that I pregnant. I was also questioned if I was sure I had missed periods etc.

I have all the usual signs and pregnancy symptoms; tummy stiff, growing, breasts enlarged, urinating very frequently, three missed periods, burning stomach, uncomfortable to sleep on my tummy, etc.

How is this then possible, to be told nothing is there, only a sac can be seen, no heart beat nothing. I am in soo much shock.. haven't left my home since. Crying every hour... too much to think about ... can someone explain this please.

Cramping and spotting during the early stage of pregnancy could be a normal symptom. However it is more commonly a sign of PMS (premenstrual syndrome) which is also often accompanied by lower back pain.

Does it happen after sex, exercise, or a long day at work? If it does, it could be best if a pregnant woman to discontinue doing such activities at least until spotting completely stops.

Minor bleeding during the first trimester of pregnancy could be considered as normal and common. It could indicate a problem when it happens during the second or the third trimester.

Always stay in touch with your doctor and discuss any cramping or spotting you may experience.

Yes. There is definitely a good possibility that you are indeed pregnant. Wait one week, or at least until your period is over and take another pregnancy test. I have gone through the same thing and it took another week afterward for me to find out I was pregnant. I am now 8 months pregnant with twin boys. Good luck!
