Is it possible to still have a period during the first trimester of pregnancy? Or spotting? What are reasons for first trimester bleeding?

My cousin had her period for the first 2 months of her pregnancy the doctor said everything was normal. If you start to bleed heavily though you should consult your doctor. She only bled very lightly. Always talk to your doctor about anything like this.

I knew someone who had that happen. I guess it was because her body was so used to having a period. But she went to the doctor and everything was fine. It is always best to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
