Heart Palpitations and Menopause

I keep having palpitations and my heart keeps murmuring and fluttering. Is this normal, or part of menopause? It is a scary feeling and I notice it sometimes after I have eaten or especially drank alcohol.

Yes heart palpitations are a symptom

I was reading some article that said heart palpitations are a symptom of menopause. It is caused by the changing and fluctuating of hormones in the body at this time of life. And alcohol can make it worse, so you may want to avoid drinking anything for a while. It is always best to talk to your doctor about any symptoms like this, just in case your symptom might be caused by something else.
