Hormones after giving birth?

Hi I'm wondering if I may be pregnant or if it is just hormones after childbirth. I am 22 and have a 16 month old son. I had a period on the 6th of October as normal, then again on the 27th of October. I had sex with my partner on the 31st and other days after that but I cant remember the exact dates. Now on the 6th I am due for my period on this date... but I had an unexpected period on the 27th of Oct! I went to the toilet and noticed pink mucus discharge with spots of blood in it. Then the next day it turned to light brown thick discharge. No severe cramps just thought I was getting my period. But I have never had this before. Normally my periods are very heavy with clots. I'm so confused. I do not take any medication or birth control and my periods are normally 28 day cycles. I have been feeling sick and dizzy but I put it down to maybe vertigo. So what do you all think?

I think you better go see a doctor. It doesn't sound right to me that you said, "Normally my periods are very heavy with clots." I've never heard of it with heavy clots... are you breast feeding? Talk to your doctor.
