Irregular period a sign of pregnancy?

My wife and I had sex about a month ago. I used a condom and there was no leak or any problem in the tip of it, but there was a leak in the bottom of the condom. Then my wife had her period about 10 days later. However now her next period is more than 14 days late and she thinks she might be pregnant.

Is it possible to be pregnant after having a regular period for the 1st month??

If not, then please help us know why such an unusual period would take place?

It could simply be hormones

It is difficult to tell without a pregnancy test. That is the best way to know.

However if someone was pregnant they usually would not have their period ten days later. So if a woman had her period it would usually mean she did not get pregnant.

As for a late period, that can be caused by a hormone imbalance, and it is pretty common, lots of women have it happen sometimes.

An irregular menstrual cycle can be caused by:

Stress - worry
Being sick
Lack of sleep
Losing weight
Poor diet / junk foods
Taking medications
Heavy exercise
