Irregular periods and pregnancy

I am scheduled to start my period on the 24th of the month, and I didn't get it... however I don't always have a period every month. I have irregular periods. So its hard to tell if I have missed a period or if I am pregnant.

I have some typical signs of pregnancy right now, but a while ago before I had the same thing and it turned out I wasn't pregnant. So I'm not sure this time but lately I'm getting heartburn every time I eat or drink anything. My lower stomach feels funny. I feel queasy (in the back of my throat) and my breasts are tender and my back hurts. What do you think? Am I pregnant this time or am I not?

I had irregular periods and for 3 years I took no notice.

My partner and I decided to try to get pregnant and had no success for 12 months.

I experienced the same things, having what would be considered pregnancy symptoms, taking a HPT being up to 3weeks late and it coming back negative.

After a lot of frustrating episodes I decided to visit my doctor, and I am glad I did.

It turned out that I have poly cystic ovaries.

I'm not saying that's what you have or something is wrong with you. Its just that if you haven't visited your GP yet it might be a good idea.

I know how annoying it can be playing the waiting game. For me, even though my result wasn't exactly peachy, I felt relieved that I knew why I wasn't getting pregnant and what I could do to help it happen.

I am now 9weeks pregnant and so excited.

Yes I am having the same issues. I have irregular periods, even up to two weeks, but then I start. I have had a few times where I suspected I was pregnant, but then I started my period. Now I am having that same experience again during this cycle. I wish I would either get pregnant or that these symptoms would stop!

I have irregular periods too. I had unprotected sex two weeks after my period last month, and now (almost 3 weeks after that) I have been having stomach cramps for about 5 days now. Sometimes I feel quite dizzy and nauseous as well.

I have taken two pregnancy tests and they were both negative. I don't know if I tested too early. Should I wait a bit longer, or go straight to the doctor for a blood test?
