Late period and brown discharge

Okay so I was supposed to have my period about a week or so ago and I still haven't had it. Instead I have some brown discharge. I'm scared, am I pregnant?

The same thing happened to me so I took 2 home pregnancy tests and they were both positive. So then I went to the doctor to make sure - and sure enough I'm pregnant. You might want to take a pregnancy test first or call your doctor to get one.

I'd say yes you are probably pregnant, in my opinion. Do consult a doctor immediately. Never take any chances with the health of your baby.
Maybe or maybe not

It could happen for several reasons, but only a doctor could tell for sure. One reason might be that you recently stopped taking the pill, or changed your contraception type or dose and that is causing a bit of a change in your normal cycle. Another possible reason is stress and just having some old blood going away before you will have a regular period like usual in a few days. The other possible reason might be that yes you are pregnant and this is some implantation bleeding or something. A good home pregnancy test can be useful to ease your mind, and the blood test at the doctor office is the best and most accurate. A phone call to your OBGYN or a clinic might also put your fears to rest.
