Morning after pill side effects?

I finished my period on a Friday and had sex on Saturday night after or Sunday morning. I got the morning after pill but I got my period the next Saturday a week later and it was a lot lighter in colour and am worried I could be pregnant. Could that lightness just be due to normal morning after pill side effects?

Yes it is pretty common to have a lighter period than usual if you have used the morning after pill. It is a hormone pill and that has an effect on your ovulation and your menstruation. So yes, that is a normal side effect of that pill.
