My period is lighter than usual - normal

I had a baby about a year ago. My Husband and I haven't had sex in a while and when we did it was a couple of days before I started my period. When it did come on it was heavy one day then it stopped - there was nothing there. The next day it started again but it was light. Then it totally stopped again. So I took a pregnancy test a couple weeks later, but it was negative. The next month I started my period the first two days heavy as usual and now it changed to being light. I don't know what is going on. I usually have my normal 7 day AF but now my period is lighter than normal.

Are you taking BC?

If you started taking BC again then it can cause some irregular periods while your body gets used to it. Stress can have an effect upon hormones too and that can cause fluctuations in your normal menstrual cycle. If you got your period it usually means you are not pregnant.
