PMS = Tender Breasts Before Period?

My breast are a little tender. My nipples are whiter than normal i guess and i have yet to start my period. Is this a sign of pregnancy or simply a symptom of PMS?

It could be either one

I get tender breasts before my period too, but one time I had it worse, they were really more tender than ever. That time it turned out I was pregnant. So it can be either one - a sign of PMS or a sign of pregnancy.
