Pregnancy and H1N1 Swine Flu

I'm really worried about my pregnancy and trying to avoid the H1N1 swine flu that is going around. What precautions can I take to protect myself and my baby from the flu?

No long-term studies

I was just talking with friends about that exact topic. The pregnant woman in question is a nurse and was about to get the vaccine but then a consultant in her hospital told her that, so far, no long-term studies could be done on the actual vaccine and how it might possibly affect the baby. So, essentially, he suggested to rather not take it until one can really be sure that it does not do more harm than good. This is not medical advice so be sure to ask your own doctor for his or her professional opinion.
