Loose bowels! That was the only sign I had. I went to the bathroom 3 times in a row. I remembered someone mentioned loose bowels to me as a sign, so I headed to the hospital. Sure enough, when I got there it was time to start pushing!
Symptoms of going into labor by: Anonymous
In my experience, having had 2 healthy babies naturally and with no meds, my advice would be if you start feeling pressure in your lower abdomen.
I experienced this pressure several weeks before I went into full blown labor. I did not have any painful labor at first, and it did not effect my day to day activities. Just some pressure.
Then all of a sudden, my water broke, which is a sure sign that you are in labor. My advice, if you are having some pressure, time the pains and go from there.
As a mother-to-be, you will know, trust me. The main thing is to not panic. Try to relax, take it one contraction at a time, and remember your breathing.
Your breathing is the absolute answer, as simple as it sounds, it will get you through like it has for moms throughout history.
