Pregnancy Test Instructions

I did a pregnancy test with a home Pregnancy test kit (urine test) but it appeared a less intense mark in the test region. The C- region mark is quite intense but the T-region is not so prominent. Am I pregnant?

Yes you could be pregnant

On most tests, the T region (test region)is where a sign will appear if it detects hCG hormones. The color and darkness of the line will vary, but a if the line appears it is indicating that you are pregnant.

If there are no pregnancy hormones detected then there should be no line in the T region at all. If you do show a positive result in the T region it usually indicates that you are pregnant, even though the line is not equally as dark as the control mark. The marks are not meant to match up evenly. The test line should be blank if you are not pregnant - there should be no mark there at all.

So yes, if you see a line there in the T region, you are probably pregnant.

After about 10 minutes the hCG will have faded and the line in the T region will also have faded, so the test results that are showing will no longer be accurate.

Doing a hpt in the morning works best because that is when there might be a better concentration of hCG pregnancy hormones.

What brand / what kind of test is the one you are using?
