Short period and spotting - cramping

So I got my period around the normal time to start. Although I wouldn't call it my period. So I spotted the brown stuff and cramped all day.

The next day VERY light blood. That lasted for like 4 days. I'm on the pill but I didn't do so well on remembering to take it this last time.

Since I'm on the pill I know how I get before I start. But before I started the spotting I had none of my normal stuff, like soreness and being very emotional.

I took a home pregnancy test but I think it was too early for it and it came back negative. Plus I had unprotected sex twice that month. So I still think there's a chance of me being pregnant. But just don't know when to take another test, it's been a week and one day since the last one. I'm only 18 and I don't know who to go to without feeling like I'm going to be judged. I've also noticed that certain scents make me sick to my stomach and last night I got emotional so I don't know whats going on! I need help! :)

The Pill can cause that sometimes
by: Anonymous

If you forget to take your pill every single day and you skip a day here and there it can upset your regular cycle and your hormone balance. If that happens you might have spotting and cramps and nausea, etc., but it would not be from pregnancy hormones, it would be from the irregular use of the pill causing fluctuating hormones.

Hopefully that is all that is happening. Try to get better at taking it daily like clockwork. If you don't have anyone you can talk to, try calling a pregnancy clinic. They often let you drop in for a quick appointment and the cost is very low or sometimes even free of charge. If you want, they can do a quick blood test type of pregnancy test also and that is far more accurate and also tells you much sooner.
