Sore breasts for 5 weeks!

I have been having sore breasts for 5 weeks now. But I had my period 3 weeks ago. I also have been urinating more frequently and have been cramping and feeling a bit nauseous sometimes in the mornings. I took a pregnancy test a week ago but it was negative. Can somebody please help me out?!

Sore breasts for 2 months
by: Anonymous

So my breasts have been sore for almost 2 months and this is not a normal thing for me. I have never had this problem before.

Could I really be pregnant?

I rarely have my full period. Its just some spotting here and there and sometimes it will last for a hour and go away.

Lately I have bad stomach/cramping pain and when I eat I feel sick versus being full.

Two urine test have been done but both negative. And since negative they failed to do an ultra sound on me.

Should I go to another doctor an ask for one? Answers Please!!!

Sore Breast

One of the earliest signs of pregnancy is sore and tender breasts.

Some women do not notice much of a difference, while others may feel that even the lightest fabric hurts.

Breast tenderness usually begins before you miss your first period. It?s caused by increasing levels of estrogen and progesterone in your body due to pregnancy.

These hormones help prepare your breasts for nursing and for the first few months, you may feel as though you want no one to even touch them!

If you need to, tell your partner to avoid this area of your body when you?re having intercourse.

Your breasts may feel heavier than normal as they become ready to produce milk. You may feel as though each step you take is quite uncomfortable and sleeping may become difficult.

Many women find that their breasts increase by one or two cup sizes. The best way to reduce the pain your breasts is to find an excellent support bra. You may need to buy a new one.

If under-wire bras make the soreness worse, then get a soft cup bra, but make sure it fits properly.

You may also find that warm compresses help, too.

For those women who find that their breasts simply make it difficult to continue normal activities, then you should at least take a little comfort in knowing that the soreness should subside by your fourth month.

Many women who do not breastfeed will experience a lot of the same symptoms after giving birth as well, but these usually only last for a couple of weeks.

PMS?

Sometimes sore breasts are a premenstrual symptom so it could just be that.
