Three days late on my period

I am age 20 and I live in Nigeria. I am 3 days late on my period. And I just started experiencing sore throat along with a cough and fever. Are these signs of early pregnancy? I really wish to know if I might be pregnant.

Sore throat is not a sign of early pregnancy

Sore throat with cough and a fever are not typical signs of early pregnancy, but they are often signs of a cold or flu. Being sick with a cold might be what caused your period to be a few days late. However if your period is late there is always a chance you might be pregnant. It is kind of soon to take a pregnancy test but if your period doesn't happen in another few days be sure to do a test. Hope you feel better soon.
