Tight Stomach on Depo?

I started the Depo birth control shot a few months ago and after my second shot I didn't have a period for 2 months. Now I am having my period but I'm also having a tight kind of pressure in my lower stomach. It is hard for me to get comfortable when I lay on my stomach. Could the tight feeling be a normal side effect of the Depo shot? Thanks :)

I haven't had a period since I have been on the shot, but I am in a lot of pain from it, and I cant eat as much as I used to. I have been on the shot for almost a year
