I have been trying for about 6-8 months to get pregnant. I missed my period last month but then in this month it came on schedule. Is there something wrong with me?

I was 8 days late and had done two negative pregnancy tests, I got my period on the 9th day of being late and I am devastated for the 12th month running. This is so hard and it it just gets harder to deal with each month that I'm not pregnant.
What could be the reason for being so late?
Should I go to the doctors?
Please advise!

That is great news to hear you are late after trying so long. It is too soon to see a positive result on the test so don't worry that does not mean you are not pregnant. I only means that it is a bit early to test yet. At 14 days late you might try a preg test and also an ovulation test to see what is happening. Best of luck to you.
