Is it menopause?

I guess it depends on whether you are going through menopause or not. You need this clarified first.

However I came off the pill 10 months ago, have been trying for a baby, but nothing yet - and still no period for the past 3.5 years!

Good luck

Some studies claim that it is helpful for women to continue taking birth control pills even during the onset of menopause. It has been found that in some women the pills might help alleviate and control common menopausal symptoms like night sweats, irritability, and hot flashes. Often, women who are taking birth control may be advised by their doctors to continue doing so even during menopause. In about a year or two years, their doctor may advise them to slowly stop taking the pills. However, there might be a need to take a replacement therapy as a substitute.
